Gold Medalists
For Catherine, the measure of a great trainer is not what she has won herself; it is what she has helped others achieve. Over the past years, Catherine has coached a multitude of students to their German and USDF Gold Medals, the highest individual achievement in global dressage. Each one represents years of patient, principled work, and a relationship built on trust between horse, rider, and trainer.

[ HIGHLIGHTS ]Celebrating the success of student, trainer, and horse.
Catherine measures her career not only by what she has accomplished in the arena, but by what she has made possible for others. Developing a rider to the USDF Gold Medal standard, the highest individual achievement in American dressage, requires years of precise, principled work.
Catherine’s students have competed on international teams, won national championships, and brought horses she bred and developed to the world stage. Hope Beerling, her Assistant Trainer, has represented Australia under Catherine's guidance while bringing Vianne (bred by Haddad) to International recognition in Young Horse competition. Katie Johnson represented the United States Para Dressage Team at the 2018 World Equestrian Games with Catherine as her coach. Barbie Asplundh, an Adult Amateur, placed third at the USEF Developing Horse Prix St. George in 2019. Mane Stream Belstaff, trained by Catherine to Grand Prix, went on to represent Denmark at the World Equestrian Games with Betine Jenssen and Korea at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games with Dong Seon Kim.
These are just a few of our team’s celebrated achievements.
What Catherine gives every rider who walks into her program is the same thing the great masters gave her: an education built on classical principles, an honest eye, and the belief that when the foundation is right, everything else follows.
It is a pleasure and honor to see our success extend to those within our program.
